What is your verification process?

Updated over a year ago

Wondering how our verification process works?

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

Verifying your account is a super important step that helps keep your gaming experience safe and secure.

It’s a quick and easy process that ensures your account is protected and that all your details are up to date.

Let's dive into what you can expect from our verification process!

Market regulations require us to validate every player’s identity, so you’ll need to be a Canadian resident and provide a valid form of ID (foreign IDs are okay!) as well as proof of address (which can be outside Ontario).

To deposit and play at LuckyCasino, you must be physically within Ontario’s state lines, so location checks are mandatory before you can wager.

When you register, you’ll fill out a survey with your personal information and later upload a picture of your ID. Here’s a list of accepted IDs:

  • Passport

  • Driver’s License

  • NEXUS Card

  • Global Entry Card

  • Permanent Resident Card

  • Canadian Citizenship Card (issued before 2012)

  • Secure Certificate of Indian Status

  • Provincial Services Card

  • Provincial or Territorial Identity Card (e.g., Ontario Photo ID Card)

If your ID includes your address (like a driver’s license), that might be enough for verification.

If it doesn’t, or if our system needs more info, we’ll ask for proof of address.

This is required to confirm you’re a Canadian resident, not just for Ontario.

Valid proof of address documents include:

  • Utility bill (water, electricity, internet) from the last 3 months

  • Bank statement with your address on it

  • Latest Tax bill

Please Note: We don’t accept mobile phone bills or insurance documents.

These documents must be official PDFs or photos of physical documents sent to your home address.

Once you’ve submitted your documents, they’ll be processed and verified.

Most cases are validated automatically, but occasionally an agent might need to take a closer look.

If your validation is taking longer than expected, feel free to reach out to customer support.

What if my documents get rejected?

If your documents are rejected, we’ll contact you with details on what we need to get you verified.

Unfortunately, if you’re unable to provide the necessary ID or proof of address, you won’t be able to register with us.
